Greenwich Addition & Renovation

This Project is a contemporary addition to a traditional home in Greenwich, Connecticut. The existing house is wrapped in a blue stucco with traditional windows and dormers. The new addition is is clad in black windows, metal panel, and a smooth white limestone plaster as a counterpoint to the exterior of the original home. A double height glass connector ties the new kitchen, living space, study, and bedroom to the main house. A simple gesture that provides a a new sheltered drop off. Inside the glass cube, a white oak clad form is layer beyond the glass, providing a new entry for the house.

Brian Foster was the architect in charge of the project from Concept - Construction Documents. The project was put on hold in 2019.
